This is a link to information about the Wagoner Windtalkers.

A recently licensed ham - Josh(KE5Yll) spoke to me yesterday.
I understand that many of the Highschool Students from Wagoner (18, I think) have just completed testing and are now Amateur Radio Operators.

Congratulations Josh and our most respectful thanks to Jeff Sharrock and everyone involved in this outstanding adventure.

Sounds like a great group... If it's not in the article, can we get the contact info for the club sponsor so we can get them some Hamgrams and let them know when the nets are.

FYI

I believe you have Josh's call wrong. It should be ke5yol according to QRZ.

Thank you for the kind words about our club at Wagoner H.S.(WI5ND). My students show a great deal of excitement about our hobby. More than 20 are licensed and more than 120 are in the club. The week of 9-13 Feb we will be on the air doing School Club Roundup. We will be on 80M (around 3860KHz)each morning around 1500Z. We will also be on 146.49MHz FM simplex (all day). We will also work 40M and 20M phone & PSK31 during the day. Please listen for us. We would love to QSO with all of you. For a sched. you could e-mail me at jsharrock@wagonerps.org
